AUGUST: WE LOVED…

(1. Sew Tiny! Book and Hair-bows , 2. H & M Neon Cat Dress, 3. Denman Tangle Tamer Hairbrush, 4. Rebel Kitchen Coconut Chocolate Mylk, 5. NPW Personalised Banner Kits, 6. Project Jelly Orange Sherbert JuJu Jellies)

Here’s a sneak peek into what we’ve been living and loving this month…

Ok lets begin with a little shameless self-promotion – I’ve been busy stitching up some of my seriously simple but oh-so stylish handmade hair bows using the tutorial from my latest book, SEW TINY! Bou calls them ‘hair bones’ – too cute ( don’t you just love those little language miss-pronounciataions!) Perfect for peeps like me who have endless scraps of fabric in their sewing stash and love to put all those odds and ends to good use;) For boys, try turning them into bow-ties instead.

Oh H & M Kiddos, let me count the ways I love thee! I can never resist stopping by the H & M kids concession on our way into town and this neon cat dress at £6.99 was just too puurfect not to purchase at our last pop-in. Meaow!

If you’ve been following my instagram feed you’ll know that my girl got hair! The infamous  DENMAN TANGLE TAMER  has become part and parcel of our everyday beauty arsenal ever since she was a wee babe plus, I’m just a total sucker for its super-cute pink design. We would be totally lost without this piece of kit for taming those morning birds-nest barnets!

Our latest culinary crush – REBEL KITCHENs dairy-free Chocolate Coconut Mylk has really put the delicious in nutritious. Both Bou and myself are dairy-free, so this stuff is like sweet nectar from the Vegan gods! If you haven’t tried this already, then I suggest you hit up your local whole foods hotspot and buy yo’self a carton for some creamy-dreamy chocolately coconutty goodness. mmmm.

We have also lately been loving the NPW personalised banner kits – these re-usable letters, links and hangers offer endless combinations and have adorned the walls all over our house as they look crazy-cool whatever the occasion. Celebrate birthdays, decorate bedrooms or simply string up motivational quotes to inspire and get you through the day.

Lastly did you hear about PROJECT JELLY?  JUJU JELLIES teamed up with MENCAP over the summer to create a collection of Limited Edition designs to help repackage charity in a cool and innovative way – combining the best of British children’s design with a big fundraising edge! We were super-excited to get involved with this awesome initiative and pick up our own pair of Limited Edition colour-blocking Juju’s. The only problem – there were too many cool colour ways to choose from!
