Here’s a little sneak peek into our Easter basket…

Ok so I’m gonna let you into a little secret of mine….I believed in the Easter bunny for waayy longer than I should have. Even longer than it took me to work out the truth about old Saint Nic.  As a kid I spent quite a bit of time living in the US and across the pond the Easter bunny is kind of a big deal. I remember the excitement of waking up on Easter morning and discovering a basket full of goodies and of course my mums house rule – chocolate for breakfast! So now I have my own little one I’ll be keeping the tradition alive, although maybe not the chocolate for breakfast bit (sorry mum!) Here’s a little sneak peek of what Bou will be getting in her Easter basket this year…

No Easter basket is complete without some crafting goodies to keep little ones entertained. Try sidewalk chalk for getting creative on your curb and neon paints to add that splash of holiday themed colour and fun.

Of course Bou will be styling it out on Easter day with one of my BUNNY IN A CARROT BAG’S – available from my Etsy shop now. These handmade bags and bunny toy combos make the most adorable Spring accessory for little chicks as well as the ultimate egg hunt treat bag. There is still time to order one before the weekend so get ’em whilst they hop!

I’m skipping the traditional woven basket container this year and opting instead for this adorable plastic BASKET BAG from H & M with it’s cute retro style. Luckily I can just about squeeze in all of Bou’s treats plus best of all, she get’s to use it all year long.

The supermarkets have really upped their game in recent years with producing cute and colourful Easter goodies and treats and who could resist this bunny skipping rope discovered at our local SAINSBURY’S ? Perfect for practicing bunny hops, skips and jumps!

Don’t know about you, but my little one is bubble crazy. Luckily there are loads of cute bubble pots around at the moment – in fact too many to choose from! I snapped up these super cute ICE CREAM BUBBLE blowers from uber-cool one-stop kids design shop, Molly Meg.

We’re having a get-together this year with some of Bou’s little mates so this EGG AND SPOON RACE set from ELC should keep them busy. This classic kids game of balance and speed is perfect of for burning off all that sugar on Easter Sunday. The set comes complete with plastic spoons and eggs that crack to reveal little bean-bag yolks. Too cute!

My little one loves to keep a night light by the bed so this BABY BUNNY NIGHT LIGHT powered by LED should encourage sweet dreams.

Looking for something to keep the littles busy this holiday?  Look no further than the LOTS OF RABBITS TO SPOT book from Usborne. I am so loving this! It’s like Where’s Wally but with cute bunnies and could anything be more fun? Jam packed with Easter themed activities, stickers, puzzles and games this look-and-talk book is gonna keep the kids entertained for hours. We’ll be taking ours on the long car journey to visit the fam!
